When sitting in the chair, one can turn diagonally and face towards the the other person in the conversation. With the CHESA armchair, the complex craftsmanship that was previously required for bentwood furniture gives way to a contemporary production process. Small- diameter trees from the forests of northern Japan, previously often used as firewood or in the paper industry, are transformed into furniture using a combination of craftsmanship and advanced technology. High- quality furniture components are made from small pieces of wood.
