Stylepark, Light + Building

The platform for the exhibition of the „Design Plus Award“ competition, the cafe, and the slightly raised „Stylepark Architects‘ Lounge“ form a unit. The visual point of attraction is formed by an installation of 10 mast head lamps. The lamps carry a spherical, lens-like fabric. The light of the street lamps streams through this textile diffuser and illuminates the circular zone beneath. The installation with a diameter of 11 meters and the simple, utilitarian constructions in its immediate surroundings are reminiscent of an astronomical research station in an artificial landscape. There are echos of scientific experimental installations for the research of light and natural phenomena.
