Origami

Switzerland has a tradition of producing sheet metal furniture. Companies such as Lehni or USM have dedicated themselves to the material. Origami uses sheet metal forming procedures by which thin sheets are given folded edges for additional stability. The search for a new formal language drives the construction of these tables. Their raw and industrial qualities contrast with their elegant lines and the attention to detail but also with unexpected construction elements such as the way in which the legs are joined to the four tile segments.
